Jacinda Motton

Creative Entrepreneur & Artist

During the pandemic in 2020, I discovered an interest for creating meaningful and impactful virtual experiences. My journey began with providing support through virtual funerals for grieving families, offering a sensitive and personalized approach.

As I expanded my expertise, I found opportunities to collaborate with a diverse range of companies and non-profits, each with unique needs and objectives. These experiences have not only enriched my skills but have also allowed me to contribute to the success of various virtual events. Below are some companies and organizations I’ve had the privilege of working with.

BWAARP: A Journey in Virtual Empowerment

In partnership with the Los Angeles Urban League, we spearheaded the creation of BWAARP (Black Wealth Attainment and Retention Program), a transformative six-part economic empowerment workshop series. As the lead producer, I orchestrated a seamless collaboration between my client - Parkside EDC, distinguished speakers, and LAUL's marketing team.

I managed the event timeline, speaker rehearsals, technical aspects, and Q&A sessions, ensuring a compelling virtual experience. BWAARP wasn't just a series; it was a catalyst for empowerment, connecting people from all walks of life in the pursuit of economic growth and change.

Guiding Families Through Online Memorials

At GatheringUs, I led families in planning, organizing, and hosting online funeral and memorial services. Using Zoom, I managed all aspects of virtual events, from setup and rehearsals to troubleshooting and post-event follow-up.

Additionally, I skillfully coordinated timelines and workflows between clients, the graphics/media team, and customer service, seamlessly orchestrating events with up to 500 attendees.

Empowering Virtual Leadership Development

At Leadership Circle, I collaborate with faculty to create engaging, positive, and supportive Zoom environments for virtual leadership development sessions targeting high-level leaders and coaches. Alongside providing technical support to participants and facilitating breakout sessions, I integrate music seamlessly and effectively manage sessions that span up to 8 hours a day.

Elevating Virtual Sessions with Seamless Hybrid Meetings

In partnership with Encore, I took charge of overseeing and managing hybrid Zoom meetings for the American Chemical Society Expo. My role involved ensuring the smooth operation of Zoom presentations and Q&A sessions, enabling effective communication and interaction among speakers and on-site A/V technicians. I implemented technical solutions to swiftly troubleshoot and resolve any issues, guaranteeing a seamless virtual experience. Coordinating with both virtual and on-site presenters, I ensured the proper sharing and display of materials, contributing to the success of these essential sessions.

Orchestrating Excellence at Ax3 Studios

Collaborating closely with the CEO, I played a pivotal role in managing virtual and hybrid sessions for diverse events such as CleftCon, IES Mathematics Summit and RubyConf. My responsibility encompassed overseeing the seamless operation of platforms like Webex (Socio) and Zoom, ensuring successful presentations and Q&A sessions.

My commitment to excellence, combined with a creative and adaptable approach, ensures that each virtual event I produce is a memorable experience. As I continue to evolve in this dynamic field, I look forward to bringing innovative ideas and solutions to your upcoming virtual events.
